How To: Freebies

Recently, actually within this month I began to search how to get free products. I began in this search because I was looking for reward points for restaurants. I mean who doesn't like to get free stuff from all the cash you spend in stores? So, I will be posting websites and different programs that give away free legitimate products with no strings attached. The best way to get free food/products is by signing up to loyalty rewards/birthday rewards. There are many different sites. I got a few from local stores which included: IHOP, Aveda, La Madeline, Origins, Sephora, Fresh, Philosophy, etc. There are a lot of places to get free stuff for your birthday. All you have to do is sign up. I will be posting a link of where a found different stores that offer free birthday gifts.  Click-> Birthday Freebie

Photography Tips

In my college years I began to take up photography because it was something I loved. I learned a lot on how to use my DSLR camera and a regular point and shoot and the many cool things you can do with them. So, I will be sharing my knowledge.
Number one -> Most cameras usually have 5 different modes which are: Manual, Aperture Priority, Shutter Speed Priority, Auto, and Night/Portrait/Landscape. I will explain what each one means.
Manual- You set up the aperture, iso, and shutter speed range.
Aperture- This setting is plays with the focus of the object. Meaning you can have everything in focus or you can have a specific object in focus and have the rest of the background blurry.
Shutter Speed- My favorite of all of them. This setting focuses on how fast or slow the shutter will close. The different ranges can cause motion blur, panning, and stop action.
Auto- What the camera thinks the setting should be.
Night/Portrait/Landscape- This setting is for a specific photography.

Valentine's Day Hearts Banner

DIY Holiday Decor-Valentines's Day Hearts BannerHoliday Decor- Foam Hearts Banner for V-DayI love banners because they are cheap and easy to make. Therefore, I'll show you how to create a super easy, even though it takes some time, and fun Valentine's banner. This banner is essential to decorate your home for Valentine's Day. You will need glitter foam paper, colorful foam paper, red string, and a hot glue gun. First, you will cut out different sizes of hearts from the foam paper. If it is easier, use a cut out of a heart the size you prefer. Then you will glue on the hearts on one another in any combination you like. I created thirteen different combinations of hearts. Next, cut your red string to the size you prefer to have your banner. My string was about 52 inches long. When you layer out the string glue on your foam hearts onto the string about 4 inches apart. When your done hang it up on the dining room wall and dazzle up the table for Valentine's. Well, I hope everyone has a loving Valentine's Day.

DIY Decor- Heart Shape Glitter Votive
DIY Holiday Decor- Glitter Heart Shape VotiveValentines is almost near, so, lets get started on some fun decor. This are cute and easy heart shaped glitter votives that will definitely look amazing. What you will need is mod podge, foam brush, glitter, led votive, glass container, and paper or tape. With either the paper or tape, cut out a heart and place it in the inside of your glass container. Then you will spread the mod podge with the foam brush all over the inside of the container. Pour the glitter in shake it in the container. Make sure that you have enough glitter to cover your vase; I used less than 1 oz of glitter. However, you can use spray paint instead of glitter. When the container has dried remove the heart and add the led votive or you add a banquet of beautiful red roses to go with your vase. This will definitely be a wonderful gift to give to a special person in your life.
