Menthol provides effective relief from respiratory problems including nasal congestion, sinusitis, and a cold. Drinking a cup of peppermint tea can be very beneficial for the health. Additionally, diffusing the essential oil of the peppermint can help to reduce stress, increase concentration, and accuracy. Also, it is beneficial to inhale peppermint oil to boost energy levels. Furthermore, by rubbing a drop of essential oil onto the temples, forehand, and the back of the neck can alleviate a headache. In addition, by rubbing a drop of the oil over the abdomen it can soothe minor stomach discomfort. You can also apply it to an injured area or to sore muscles to relieve the pain.  The peppermint can be wonderful for many uses if you either are drinking a tea, rubbing a drop to reduce pain, or just diffusing the oil for concentration.
