3 Natural Remedies for a Sore Throat

Natural Remedies for a Sore ThroatIf you live up north most likely you are getting all the snow and the cold winds. I live in Virginia and it hasn't been that bad here, however, we have gotten some cold days. When I first get sick I prefer to cure myself with natural remedies instead of drinking medicine. When you feel an ache in the back of your throat take action. Cut open two limes and squeeze out all the juice from it into a cup to drink. This should prevent you from getting sick, however, if it doesn't relieve you from your sickness try making a ginger tea. To make tea boil water, while you are heating water cut a piece of ginger root into small chunks. If your making tea for yourself you can use a small 1 inch length and .5 inch wide ginger root and just cut it into pieces. When you feel that enough of the minerals of the roots has leaked into the water you can poor the water into a cup and remove the roots. Then cut up a lemon in half and squeeze out the juice of one of the halves and then add a spoonful of honey. The lemon helps reduce the spiciness of the ginger and it has many antibiotic effects. The ginger root also has many health benefits and have antiseptic properties. The last remedy is just adding one more ingredient to the ginger tea, which is eucalyptus leaves. These leaves are the best for a congestion because they antiseptic properties.
